December 2025
“Season of Service & Light”“Bringing warmth, hope, and help to our community this holiday season.”
November was a busy month. We sponsored and helped out at Special Athletes Volleyball Tournament in Bryn Athyn, planted flags on graves at George Washington Memorial Park for Veterans' Day and supplied Thanksgiving dinners to the food insecure in Cheltenham Township. This is in addition to the people we deliver food to for Caring For Friends. This is what being a Rotarian is all about...helping others when and as we can.
Happy Birthday Chris, Kerry and Barbara May God Bless You All With Many More!!
Our next club meeting will be Friday, December 12 at 7:30 am at Michael's Restaurant. We will not have a meeting at Bella's this month.
Our annual fundraiser is underway. We have Raffle tickets available to buy/sell. If your number is the Pick 3 daily number between December 15 and February 15, you can win $25, $50 or $100. Contact Patricia Demay for available numbers.
This fundraiser helps with the $1,500 given to Special Athletes for their Volleyball Tournament, and to purchase the turkeys delivered to the hungry for Thanksgiving.

Rotary is currently celebrating its 120th anniversary, marking the milestone on February 23, 2025, which commemorates the day Paul Harris founded the organization in 1905; this anniversary is a time to reflect on Rotary's legacy of global service and commitment to making a positive impact through initiatives like polio eradication, education, and peace building.

This past Saturday ( May 3, 2025), the Rotary Club of Glenside-Abington rolled up our sleeves and served with heart at Caring For Friends! Grateful to be part of such a meaningful effort to give back and support our neighbors in need. Service above self—always!

"Rotary Club Of Glenside-Abington has revolutionized how we engage with our community and members."
